Book Review of Glass Sword

                                                                         GLASS SWORD

                  By: Victoria Aveyard

The second book in the Red Queen series!!

** spoiler alert **

The second book in the red queen quartet has my world spinning topsy-turvy.

The Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard is truly a spectacular book. Trust me when I say this, that I am not an emotional wreck when it comes to books and movies. Seldom have I cried while reading a book and the odds of me crying for a movie are even less. Nonetheless, this book had me in tears from chapter 27 till the epilog. From Shade's death till Mare forced to kneel in front of Maven.

This book made me feel a whirlwind of emotions, I was not ready to feel just yet. I am not gonna lie, for a split second I was disappointed in Mare, loathed her cold choice, disgusted by her actions, but the very next second, the author had me empathize her. Placing myself in her shoes till I felt like scream at Farley and even Cal for judging Mare far too quickly.

From "I flinch" to "I kneel" I have experienced the adventures in this book alongside the characters. The title- Glass Sword, is first pointed out in the end of chapter 17.
"If I am a sword, I am a sword made of glass"

Lastly, I leave you with this. If you haven't read this book yet, and if my spoilers have intrigued you, I suggest you rush to the nearest bookstore or well amazon and get yourself a copy to read. And if you have read the book already, there is absolutely no judgment here if you want to read it again. Because we are in the same boat my friend.
