THE CROWN OF GILDED BONES

** spoiler alert **

Jennifer L. Armentrout

The Crown of Gilded Bones had me awaiting its arrival since I finished the book KOFAF. And now the process continues.
Jennifer L Armentrout, you have my heart and I was expecting a fantabulous plot from you and you did not let me down. but the ending, ooh the ending, swept me off my feet entirely.

"Bow before your new Queen" - Kingdom Of Flesh And Fire
Flattered my heart
"Tell the Bool Queen to prepare for war." - The Crown Of Gilded Bones
Stopped my heart from beating.

Initially, when we were under the impression that Casteel has been killed, my heart pounced out of my body. However, when in the end, Cas is faced with his horrors again, along with Poppy and Kieran, I felt the anger too. So, please, I beg of you, let there be the destruction of Isbeth on the hands of Poppe, the daughter of Ires and the granddaughter of Nyktos and his consort, the Queen of Flesh and Fire.

Now aside from that, the fans of the blood and ash series were awaiting a joining, and that hope is not yet lost on me. Mostly because of the moment Poppy has with Kieran, not of heartmate love, but with definite chemistry. Here is how I know why,
" My skin tingled, and my chest throbbed. Kieran’s hand closed around mine. He squeezed."
Thus my strong FAITH.

Overall, the book never once let me sleep peacefully, and is going to be the cause for my lack of enthusiasm for my school work. But it was most definitely worth it.

Here are some of my favorite lines:
" Because I knew…I knew when my eyes closed again, they wouldn’t reopen."
THIS BROKE ME!!.

“Such a stunning, vicious little creature.”
This took me back to the good old days.

"I think he liked it when I stabbed people.
Especially him."

"I wasn’t the Maiden.
I wasn’t a Princess or even a Queen.
I was a god.
And I was so over this."
YAAASSS GIRLLL

ok I'm done.
